Stewardship Giving to God through Srewardship at His local Church of St Swithun |

Following the recent visit of Larry Bain, the
Diocesan Stewardship Advisor (right) St Swithun's embarked on its Stewardship
campaign to encourage people to give their time, talents and money for the
greater glory of God. After a month of sermons based on Stewardship members of the congregation were asked to fill in a form to state what they were prepared to give. The leaflet produced can be seen below. |

The St Swithun's Stewardship Prayer We thank you heavenly Father, for the abundant and inexhaustible gifts you have given to us through Christ Our Lord. Help us to respond to your love through our local church of St Swithun, by giving back to you our time, skills and money. May we do this with wisdom and careful use of your gifts so that we return to you an effective community that shows your love to all people. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, your Son, Our Saviour and Lord. Amen. |
